Alice M Adams, RN

I am a registered nurse and I serve attorneys. If your claim involves injury or illness, I can analyze the case and answer questions about damages, pre- and co-existing conditions, and standards of care. You do not have to understand medical terminology or wonder what medical records are missing.  I will do that for  you.

I can provide a written recommendation or a verbal consult. My medical chronologies provide side notes telling you why a fact is important and how it relates to the outcome of your case. I use Word or LexisNexis CaseMap software for chronologies, and can work with paper records (but prefer e-files).

If you need an expert, mine will withstand Daubert, and I often assist in preparing lines of deposition questions.

You and your claim determine my level of involvement. I will understand what you need, estimate project costs at the outset, and try my best to come in under budget.

A few more things about me

My nursing background is critical care, multiple trauma and closed head injuries. I have 25 years of experience in workers compensation review. I serve as an editor on the Medical Review Board of Nucleus Medical Media and run the largest LNC group on LinkedIn.

It is my pleasure to have been the 2011 President of the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultant’s Atlanta chapter, and to present on the topics of workers compensation, social media in healthcare and psychological assessment in presurgical candidates.

I am a contributing author to the AALNC’s textbook Growing Your Practice: Resources, Tools & Reports, Joyce Brewer’s newest book, Use What You Know, Pat Iyer’s Social Media for the Healthcare Professional, and am co-editor for The Path to Legal Nurse Consulting: The Collective Wisdom of Successful LNCs.

I am also available for pro bono work, and enjoy talking in general, so call me. 404.771.5155
